I have about 5500 in chips with blinds at the 50/100 level and 15 minutes until the break.

UTG+1 min raises, 2 caller and I raised to 1000 a little more than pot sized bet. The original raiser has about 4000 in chips the other callers about 3K each.

Only MP calls. Pot about 2500

Flop 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif T/images/graemlins/spade.gif 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif

He pushed I called.

Here is my thinking.

His hands that are worth 1K pre flop are possibly 99 or TT, QQ, AA, AQs, AKx or the straight draws like KQs, KQx.

Is my call worth the risk given the range of hands he could have?

How should I go about figuring if I have the odds to call this? Are there too many hands I am behind to make calling correct?

Thanks

You're getting about 2:1 and the range of hands he might do this with are maybe a slight favorite over yours. It's a close call but probably a good call.

Considering it is a rebuy and still in the rebuy, easy call. Even if he hit a set on the flop, not likely more likely A(face), you can still rebuy twice and add-on and be nearly where you are now.
