I am a little hesitant to use this since I have not yet cleared the $500 bonus. I would hate to have it negate the bigger bonus. Has anyone used both codes?

Since a lot of people are getting both the first sign up bonus and the 500 bonus at the same time, I think we'll be fine using this one too. My past experience is that they stack up just fine.

Especialy given the timeframe you need to claim it. Most people wouldn't be able to clear the 500 bonus before depositing for the 100..

I believe you can stack them. Party gave me $100 for inactivity, and I also got a reload which I took care of by depositing too, I had 2 showing o the bonus screen, while I know it's not Empire, they are owned by the same people and I think they would operate the same.

I have deposited for both MatchbonusEP and HOTSEP, despite the bonus period not starting. I got both, when i look on my bonus page, it shows them stacked and uncleared. Get to work whores.

Has anyone who didn't do the 500$ been offered this. It seems suspicioius to me and they have plenty of rules that they could use to withdraw a bonus ("The promotional bonus may not be used in combination with any other promotion scheme, except as expressly offered by EmpirePoker.com.").

The reason I bring this up is that I know a guy that has relatives that also has Empire accounts. The two that did the 500$ bonus got this offer. The one that didn't have money in Neteller didn't.

This bonus smells funny to me and I won't use it (unless I have cleared the 500$ before the offer expires, which is a realistic and sad probability:)).

No one is "offered" the HOTSEP code. It is in their ads BEFORE you even log in. Apparently some got e-mails about it, but that's irrelevant as it's on their main page right now.

Have you ever seen Empire offer a midweek 24h-only 100$ bonus (and make sure to only mail those that grabbed the 500$ one so to make sure they didn't miss it). To me it screams of panic and damage control. Guess we will find out sooner or later.

A couple things...first it seems like people have already successfully stacked the bonuses. Second, Empire isn't bound by any laws here. If they want to nix a bonus, they just wave the wand and it goes bye bye.

It is a public relations nightmare if they take back a bonus either way. But if they can say "the customer was offered and accepted another bonus (instead of this one which wasn't intended for him)." it is much less of a public relations nightmare.

Once again, has anyone who didn't take the 500$ bonus receieved a mail about this new midweek 24h bonus?

While this is true, they do have to consider the public relations / customer service aspect.

It is one thing to deny you a bonus you were never supposed to be eligible for, but to take money already sitting in your bonus account against which you may have already played hundreds of hands would piss off some customers big time.

I agree 100%. I don't think it will be any less damaging, though, to remove the $500 bonus after accepting some sort of "trick" $100 bonus.

That would be the advantage of nixing the 500$ bonus using this bonus. Only dedicated bonus whores have used it and will get hurt (ie, few customers that deposit money and play without getting a bonus) and since a bonus whore can't resist a mail with a bonus offer they will jump all over it. It will cover a large amount of the people that did the 500$ one.

What doesn't speak for it as a method to nix the bonus is that it takes 1000$ deposit to use it. How many have 1500$ sitting in Neteller (many bonus whores do though).

Anyway, anyone figured that the people at Empire said "know what, we haven't given enough bonus money today. let's do a new one for tomorrow only"?
