IGM pay SIDs just went through and this is the first hand I was dealt on PP.

Speaking of posting, I read a passage in SSH (pg. 250) that encourages posting in order to reduce a player's "serious" image, which caught me quite off-guard as I *never* post.

What does everyone think about that?

I think this was meant about live play, I don't quite remember though. Online, I really wouldn't worry, almost no one will notice if you wait for the blind or not, and even if you do about 5 hands later they'll have forgotten.

And lots of bad players wait too.

I'll post in late position in a live game. Just so it looks like I'll bring action to the table as a loose player.

Do most live games make you post? I have only played in 3/6 and 6/12 live and I have never seen someone post on their first orbit, most of the time people are dealt in if they are in MP, but if they are utg many wait and then recieve a free orbit starting at the CO

You have to post if you're not in the blinds and aren't coming from a broken game.

You don't have to post at the lower limits where I play... mainly Harvey's in South Lake.

In all the casino's I've been in AC and Vegas you've had to. Thought it was standard.
