ok, that other thread is getting way too long.

toward the end of it people are starting to talk about "Empire 500". what is Empire 500? And is the implication that if you already have an Empire account and didn't sign up originally through "Empire 500", that the bonus code being discussed right now won't work?

thanks,
Rhone.

Was this new thread necessary? The "empire 500" means the code that matches up to $500...

Empire500 was a promotional code strikingly similar to the current promotion except it was for new sign-ups only. It was found out supposedly that it was actually an affiliates code and not a direct promotion from Empire. However when you went to www.empire500.com (http://www.empire500.com) it auto-redirected you to Empire's site where it had a special graphic that said, "Download Now get $500 free". Hand requirements were the same but I can't remember if we had a time limit or not.

Anyway the references were simply asking, "If we signed up originally for Empire500, would this new promotion be valid?" and it appears like the answer is yes.
