In a previous post concerning how to calculate the time it takes to break even on 70:1 shots getting 75:1 pot odds, I posted the variance per bet as:
(1/71)(75)^2 - (70/71)(1)^2 - [5/70]^2
The final term should actually be [5/71]^2 since 5/71 is the expectation per hand.
How is the spreadsheet going? I was thinking of making a spreadsheet too.
