I like to do it cause people always assume the other card was the money card (in my case it almost always is). I don't mind giving players info sometimes and this is even better than opening the hand so that it is more of a psych edge IMO.

Depends on whether or not you think it would rattle the other players or not. If you got a table of tightwad old fogies who wouldn't blink if a group of college coeds ran naked through the room, it's worthless. If instead you have a guy who gets emotional in the hands, hell yeah, play with their minds...

In the right circumstance not only show them one card but tell them they can pick the one card.

I temper this statement with the fact that the table needs to be filled with players I play often (Like a home game) and the information of either card can be played off one way or another in the future.

In my experience, trying to put people on tilt in a home game is a bad idea. Particularly if you play with friends. Other than that, there's really no reason to give even a little info about the way you play unless you switch gears constantly.

I get aggravated enough when a player or his connection slows down or stops for 15 seconds before acting online. If he has more situations come up where he has to decide on something, I'm against slowing down the game even more.

Especially since at my low levels, there are so many self-styled geniuses always trying to be tricky and show off. Last thing I want is for them to waste time deciding whether to yet again do it.

I agree with Astro, it would slow the games down too much.

I do kinda like the idea though.
