Party super qualifier - 100 left, 23 get seats. avg stack is just over 4000. I've come over the top twice in recent hands, once showing down AQo and once getting a fold. The AQo hand was against a short stack, in general people seem to be playing pretty tight against big raises. How's my play with 77 here? I figured a raise was in order, but wasn't quite sure of the correct size. Also, I didn't expect CO to push over the top here, but what's your play if he does?

The short stack probably has a small pair or a weak ace so calling with your pair probably is the right thing to do. If some other guy reraises, you should fold because he most likely has a better pair than you or a strong ace. You're a slight favorite against the ace, but a big dog against the over pair.

If you can get everyone to fold, this is EV+, not because you probably have a better hand than the short stack, but because of the dead money. Your allin is risky, because you may get called by an overpair. However, it is kind of borderline whether it is good or bad here.
