Angel Fish and I will be heading down to the Borgata this weekend.

We'll be arriving Thurs and staying through at least Saturday (The hotel is full Sat night).

It would be nice to see any of the AC regulars if you're around.

I'm actually writing this post from my Borg room.

I've played for two days, and each night the 40/80 has killed the 20/40. One of the regulars told me this has been happening pretty often recently. I guess the Taj tournament is partially to blame for it this weekend, but you might be dissapointed with the game selection when you get down here...

Hey Barry - when the 40 is going as the biggest game in the house it is often as good or better than the 20s. When the 80 is spread along side it the 40 will often be much worse than both the 20 and the 80. Hope this helps - and pick a weekend when I'm not doing anything! If you stay through Sunday night, I would meet ya'll down there since I'll be back in town Sunday afternoon. Send me a PM if this is a possibility. Good luck folks.

That's about what I saw. The 80 never ran while I was there, but the 40 looked wild, loose, and pretty friendly.

I forgot how much more social the Borgata games are than the CT games--it was a nice change of pace.

If not, please say hello. I'll likely be in the 10/20 from 8:30 on and will be wearing a Stars hat and building pyramids (last time I bought in for 4 racks to practice my architecture.) A month or so ago they were playing the 10 game with $5 chips but when I moved to the $20 game later in the evening I noticed quite a few $10(or were they $20?) chips floating around. I was trading them with the guy to my left so I could maintain a solid red design. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Incorrect.

The proper way to play the 3/6 is with no fewer than 3 racks of white, sunglasses, an online poker hat, and no fewer than two simultaneous drinks.

You can either build Barrymids or dump them all into a big unstacked pile. But having less than 3 racks on the table is unacceptable.

Well it's been a little while since I was last at the Borg' but the 10/20 used to play more like the 4/8 FW's than anything else.

Pretty LP, you'll see more than a few folks play any A, any 2 suited, 5 or more to the flop, etc. If there could be a flush out there, it more than likely is.

Please note Boom Boom's avatar. It's his 4 rack $1 chip pyramid from Friday night's 3/6 retard-a-thon. The best was watching him, multiple times, refuse to change someone's red chips when they ran out of whites. They pyramid must hold!

I couldn't get into the 40 game tonight as no one that was in wanted to leave, and I was too far down on the list.

The 20 game was pretty bad most of the night and just about the time it got good, I started to run bad.

I am going to play in the $1K NL tourney at the Taj on Saturday. I will probably be at the Borgata or Taj tonight and Sat night playing ring games as well. I will be wearing an orange Virginia hat (a V with two sabres underneath).

So I saw no one there this weekend with a flashing 2+2 sign above their head. I played from 8:00pm Thursday until 4:00 pm Friday in the 6/12, 10/20, and 1/2 NL game. I was the guy with the blue shirt, Stars hat, and hearing aids. Did I play with any of you out there?
