Once again, for the 23,487th time, Stave Mcnair will be on the injured list.

Yeah, I guess you could say there's something admirable about him playing hurt. But it would seem to me a "tough" player would not CONSTANTLY be getting injured. I guess you could also say it's becasue he runs too, but he doesn't run NEARLY as much as he used to, and maybe that's all part and parcel. RB's take WAY more hits than QB's, although, yes, QB's are in more vulnerable positions when passing. When running, he shouldn't be vulnerable comparatively, so I don't know that that should matter.

That said, running QB's DO seem to get injured more than non runners.

Brett Favre is tough.
And, even though you never really think of it this way,( i know I usually don't) Peyton Manning, with 90-some consecutive starts, is tough.

We agree about Peyton, but I think you are way off here. McNair is one tough bastard.

Favre constantly plays with injuries, as does McNair. Both of those mutha's are tough SOB's! Trying to argue which one is tougher is a silly argument.

Personally I think anyone playing QB in the NFL is pretty damn tough. But maybe thats just cause I''m a pussy.
