It seems like Frazier is satirizing anarchy, more so than libertarianism.

The libertarian concept is not opposed to local or state governments fulfilling a vast number of functions. I think the LP ideal has more to do with limiting the scope of federal government than with dumping all government services off the bluff.

Yes, I can see that...though given MotherJones' general leftish sort of slant I rather thought it was a bit of a swipe at libertarians or their ideals as well. Then again, I could be wrong too;-)
