i play at pacific poker and UB, and was planning to put $50 into a site to do nothing but multitable $5 SnGs. what site do u think would be the most profitable for me? i am a successful $5 Sng player at Pacific and made alot of money off them as i finish in the money most of the time, thanks for your comments.

I suggest putting 100 into Party and playing 10+1's or maybe even play the 3 table SnG's (they have 5+1 and 10+1)

i would recommend a site that doesnt charge 1 dollar rake. i think poker stars has 5+.50s

the rake will kill you if you are playing 5+1s

I second the rake comment. I was crushing the 5+1 on party, but the 16% rake was taking the wind out of my sails. 3 tabling and winning 25% of the 5+1 was inching my BR up.

I moved up to 10+1 and got crushed by the better players there. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

The 5+1 at party are super soft, but the fast blinds and the rake will make a pretty big dent in you.

The hyper blinds on the multi tables there are a killer. Once you make it into the top 20, it's a crap shoot. You have 2 blinds worth of bets and people are running you over at every hand.

I haven't tried the 5+.5 at pacific yet. I tried a couple times to get money onto the site and it keeps not working. I am making money at party, so I let it go.

Maybe a slight difference but you'll still see all ins with A7s preflop on the first hand, people calling half their stack PF with K4s in the first orbit, etc.

In my opinion, there are no easier sit and go's than the $5 ones at UB and Party. With that said, it is almost ignorant to pay the extra 50 cent fee that Party charges and I have noticed no noticeable difference in quality of play from the $5 to the $10 at Party. The bad thing about Party sit and go's is the structure. Personally, I do better at the $5 sit and go's at UB and the structure is better.

Is that a joke? I don't see any difference from the 5+1 up to the 30+3s. In fact, maybe the higher limit ones are a little easier because people aren't afraid to mix it up.

/images/graemlins/blush.gif Well, I can tell you that after 100 5+1's my ITM rate was 40%. After 20 10+1's I am at 5%.

People who don't blow up in round one in 10+1 are better and more aggressive than 5+1. In 5+1 I can wait out a good hand and steal a few blinds.

In 10+1 people call my all in and strong raises a lot more often. I seem to miss-time my bluff attempts for when the loose/weak blind has pocket pairs. My style at 10+1 seems to allow the slightly better players to read me like a book.

I could be playing lots better in 10+1. The people in 5+1 will beat themselves if you stay out of the way. That's not the case in 10+1, you have to play a little. 10+1 took a big bite out of my BR. It's back to .5/1 ring and 5+1 tourneys for a while I guess.

My point: for a good player, perhaps 5+1 to 30+1 there isn't much difference. For me, there is a VAST difference. YMMV.
