Have you seen it? Is it worth the $$?

What is the best show? In researching I've seen they have a show called "O" at the Bellagio, and a show called Mystery at another hotel. Which one do you recommend?

Ka, at MGM, starts in late November, and is supposedly more story-based than the other Cirque productions.

Do you like porn? Do you like watching porn in public? Cirque performs Zumanity at NYNY.

O, at the Bellagio, unfortunately (?) has nothing to do with Pauline Reage's classic. But it was quite the awesome; probably more so, really. Cirque On Water, as it were.

Mystere, at TI (no longer Treasure Island, that's too plebian), is Cirque's first Vegas show. More music and dance in this performance than the others.

All shows include a hefty bit of circus/acrobatic performance.

Yes, worth the $$. Get the good seats, too. It doesn't really matter which one you see, as you will see them all eventually. My first pick is O, but that's mostly cuz I'm impressed by good divers, and if I'm going to see dance or ballet, I'll go see dance or ballet.

When I vacationed in Vegas I saw O, and Mystere. I absolutely loved Mystere, it was so well done. DEFINITELY WITHOUT QUESTION WORTH THE MONEY. O was awesome too, for whatever reason I didn't like it as much as Mystere but they are both tremendous.

Haven't seen Zumanity. Mystere was a lot of fun, very enjoyable. I've seen O twice; I liked it even better than Mystere. Every person I know who's seen both has always raved about them. Expensive, but great entertainment.

I saw Zumanity last month at NYNY. I have never seen a Cirque show before and thought it was pretty good. Ther is one 5-10 minute scene where there are 2 guys dancing together and kind of groping each other which wasn't exactly my favorite part of the show, but if you can deal with that without being uncomfortable, it's a good show. It's got humor, nudity, and everything you would expect from Cirque de Solei (sp?)

I'm a tightwad, but coughed up the $150*2 for the best tickets to see the show. We deicided to see O. It was totally worth it in my opinion. It is something I will remember for the rest of my life, and am thankful there is such quality entertainment out there. If I go out again, I will definitely try and see Mystere.

There's a rumor that Cirque is going to open a new show in the convenience store near my home. It's the last place where they currently aren't playing in Vegas.

I have been to Vegas numerous times since 1987 and have never paid to see any show. Vegas itself is the show. That said, I did see, for free mind you, a 700 lb Elvis impersonator belt out some great stuff at the Barbary Coast about two years ago. I think I even made a post about this extraordinary experience. It was worth, in my estimation, about $5,000 and that does not included the extra bonus of watching the reaction of the audience.

You can stuff that Cirque hooey in a sack.
