As I recall, at least a couple of zoo-ers are in this but I don't know their real names. Obviously there's a decent possibility that Cubswin and Daryn (who I think are going) don't want all of us degenerates here knowing their names.
Well, we've narrowed it down to about 500 or so.

I did find Richard Grivilja (gotmilk).
He actually is considered more likely to win than WCP Ben Affleck!!

I also see the name Justin Bonomo which I'm pretty sure I recognize from forums.

#144 is a guy named John Onorato. I used to have a business-contact of the same name and I can't help but wonder if this is the same guy. Weird.

So far the list is:
Inthacup
GotMilk
ZeeJustin
Daryn
Punker
Shoe
judgesmails
TheFabulousChamp
alittle
18Keel

and I guess Josh Arieh and Annie Duke are technically 2+2ers, if not Zooers.

So is UB going to be doing any online updating? Similar to Stars tourney broadcasts?

UB is probably more worried about just getting their site back up and running.

After the SNG-crazy bonus was finished they had "keep playing in our SNG-crazy July etc etc" for about 10 days into August on their main-screen.

In other words, updating their site and similar things don't seem to be much of a priority at UB.

But I hope I'm wrong on this and they post some updates.

ZeeJustin

Players started with 12,000 chips.
Eugene chopped w/ the final 6 to make around $7,000 in that tournament.
Eugene is up at least $12,000 from cash games so far in aruba, possibly as much as $20,000 (most of the winnings from $200/$400, some from $40/$80).
Yes, I am out.
No one at my table was any good, and I certainly plan to enter as many tournaments like this as possible.
You do have to be 21 to play in WPT's from now on apparently.
Aruba is [censored] awsome.

no we started with T12,000

i'm in zeejustin's hotel room right now, we're hitting the beach w/ eugene.

i'm still in with 20,600, fun first day. chris ferguson and john juanda were at my table. i played some interesting hands that i'll probably post about later.

i play again wednesday. we'll see what happens. i guess they are paying 101-200th places $7000. and i hear 10th place only gets $25,000! wow... what a structure /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Inthacup

have you even started?

nope. I start tomorrow.

Regress report so far: This week has been a good dose of -EV. It's amazing how fast the BR drains when you're paying for 2. The wife and I have had an excellent vacation. I haven't played poker since I left the US and most of my time has consisted of sipping frozen drinks on the beach and exploring the island. We rented a car today, which I highly recommend to the other guys on the trip. The island is only 20 miles long, so it's pretty easy to get around as long as you can handle the aggressive driving.

Daryn, where did you hear about that payout structure? Is it listed anywhere online?

GL on Wed. Daryn, I hope to see you there(at the tables).

they announced the payout structure around sunday night when they were wrapping up with flight 1. maybe it was a tentative thing, who knows.

Keep it going Daryn, I'm looking for big dividends from my 5% action /images/graemlins/smile.gif. And I'm a little confused on something. ZeeJustin sort of eluded the age check or was it in fact 18+? If they knowingly allowed 18+ to play this thing, I'm gonna be bullshit as I woulda gone in a second. Ah well.

I saw Arieh, he was involved in a pretty big dispute. From what I saw, it looked like he moved in, and was called. While a third player was thinking about what to do, the caller turned over his hand, 88. I don't know why, but Arieh started saying to the third player "You have 99 don't you...I know you have 99...you have 99!". I think Erik Lindegren came over at that point, just as Arieh was saying, "Ill bet every dollar in my pocket that you have 99 man!" and Erick immediately said he would take the bet. They counted it out and Arieh had...$53. I can't remember what exactly Jack McClelland said, something like "This is an unusual situation" (referring to whatever the dispute was about) and Arieh responded something like "Yeah, I'm not used to seeing anyone with more chips than me either!", which cracked up the table.

I had to go back to my table and play again at this point, but I later asked Arieh and he said the guy did have 99. Arieh was doing pretty well last time I saw.

played my first 400-800 yesterday with the most profitable player in the world maybe. Along with him there was also helmuth, Annie Duke, neverwin, and a few other pros.

The fish was telling people his cards a lot, telling people he wants to have a good time etc. He liked showing everyone that he didn't care about losing 100k or whatever.

Anyway, he wins a pot and then decided to play his next hand face up. He has 36, I isolate him (I am to the left of him in the cutoff with 58s) and bb and us see the 45T flop. he bets I raise and bb folds, he raises (he is openended and I know his cards) and I reraise and he calls.)

on turn (I think it was another 10) I keep telling him things like "you better not reraise me again!" which induces him to raise cause everyone at the table is laughing) and we put in 12 big bets in the pot before he finally stops.

River is an ace. He pays me off to see my cards and I win the biggest pot I have ever won, and the most interesting one too.

I was up about 26 that game but took 2 bad beats the last 2 hands I played so left +18.5k in 5 hrs or so.

Very profitable trip so far.
