Will see it tomorrow!

I can't turn down a zombie movie. Glad to hear they finally made a good one. 28 days was awesome for the first half, the second half blew.

Couldn't agree more (although the first half is also the better of the two in this case). Did a great job of giving me my zombie fix until the Dawn of the Dead DVD comes out Oct. 26th.

Go see Shaun of the Dead now.

It is EXCELLENT. The tag-line says it all: "A Romantic Comedy. With Zombies." Simon Pegg is a genius.

I thought Dawn was artistically exceptional, I tend to agree with you on 28 Days Later, but it was also pretty redeeming.
I've been dying to see Shaun though.

Sounds like a similar tagline would have been applicable for 'Idle Hands' (which got mixed reviews at best, though I liked it)

that film was worth a rental just for watching Jessica Alba scantily clad...

Ooh? Didn't know about that shooting thing. After seeing the remake of Dawn I've been really hoping they do a remake of Day as well... a fourth movie wouldn't suck either.

Everyone in this thread owes me $22. This movie was absolutely brutal.

What in your opinion makes it good? and dont say it was funny because i laughed exactly twice.

if yer not a fan of the zombie genre, it's not going to be funny to you.

I think the funniest was the idea of "Let's just walk slow and shamble thru the zombies" - you always wonder why no one thinks of that....LOL

I was with my girlfriend and i actually talked her into watching this instead of something worth watching.

I forgot to add they also owe me 2 hours of my time.

well, if you want to do it like that.

Two hrs of Rusty Jedi's time and tickets - worth x.

Two hrs of Rusty Jedi playing poker is substantially larger then X

you therefore owe us the difference of what you would have lost playing poker minus the cost of your tickets.
