WTF is you? I'm so confused about this play. I see the slowplay on the flop which is maybe ok, but with the 2 flush on the board i don't know that i like it. Pre-flop is extremely confusing to me... and i'm hoping you were raising in the dark because i don't understand this aspect of "expert play" i suppose. *edit* I also hope this is a complete joke.

I'd slow down on the turn looks like you have kicker problems.

slowplaying the flop is a shocker - a pocket pair will likely cap the flop and you will still get 3+ bets in on the turn given this flop

It's players like you that allow players like me to earn more than 3BB/100.

And that's the great thing, really. When you're the hero, every hand's a raising hand.

sorry " WTF is you" is a quote from another message board i used to frequent. It's just an expression of confusion. I understood that you were the hero, but was just confused by what you were doing AS the hero.

Did you consider folding to the 3-bet? There are certainly some 3-bettors I'd fold to.

i understand preflop misclick, but why not put in some action on the flop? He won't put you on a 2.

No, raising and folding to a 3-bet is not something I'll do here for image reasons.

Well, this is a guy who would quite possibly call the flop and muck overcards to a turn bet. And he definitely did not need much to be 3-betting preflop. If I could count on him having a real hand and raising me on the flop, I agree. However, that was not the case here. Still, it's close IMO and going for flop action may well be the better line.

I'm not talking about folding for image. I'm talking about folding because calling the 3-bet is -EV. There aren't too many flops I like w/ J2o out of position to a 3-bettor.

I understand that a 3-bet doesn't necessarily mean premium holdings for many 6-max players, but you're still not in good shape. In fact, the more aggro your opponent is, the less inclined I'd be to call. You'd rather your opponent be more willing to lay down hands on the flop when he misses.

Ulysses

I know you weren't. Let me rephrase. For image reasons, I will not be folding to a 3-bet after raising here.

The Dude

Fair enough, although both acts (raising then folding to a 3-bet and showing down J2o as a pf raise) have the effect of encouraging opponents to play against your pf raises.

Right. But the vast majority of times I am gonna just check-fold that J2.

I think there are probably 5 people out there who just added "will rs w trash from EP" to their pokertracker database and added you to their fishfinder BuddyList. One of them will post in here about how fishy the 10-20 game is, and another will mention your Party Id as one of the fish, thus creating another thread of who the bad fish are at Party.

So, was the game so tight that you though you could steal with J2, or what?

i don't get why people would consider folding here heads up? Yes, to the theoritically "will-only-3bet-with-a-full-house-here"-opponent, but IRL...never..am i a loose goose? AM I?? /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Raising w/ J2o for advertising value in this game would be idiotic.
