No particular read on opponent.
I'm in the BB with A /images/graemlins/club.gifA /images/graemlins/heart.gif, EP raiser, all folded to me, I 3-bet, EP caps.
Flop comes: J /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/club.gif6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
I bet out, EP raises, I call.
Turn: J /images/graemlins/club.gif
I bet, EP raises, I 3-bet, EP calls.
River: some offsuit brick.
I bet, EP calls.
How's this line?

I think you traded 1 sb for 1 bb. If you did, good on you.
My caveat is that against many mediocre players, jamming the flop is just a continuation of the PF pissing contest, and doesn't really kill your action on later streets.
You better have won.

Here's the conversation that went through my head on each street.
-Preflop-
EP: I'm a big, bad, romping machine with my l337 open-raise! Behold everyone folding at my dominance!
Nepenthe: I have a hand too, 3-bet from the blinds, scary huh?
EP: Nope. /images/graemlins/cool.gif
-Flop-
Nepenthe: You don't have a hand. Admit it.
EP: I do have a hand and will prove it.
Nepenthe: Meh. OK, you have a hand.
-Turn-
Nepenthe: Look, another J, scare card huh? I don't think you have a J and in fact I don't think you have sh*t. Even if you do have an overpair, you couldn't possibly raise me! Hah!
EP: Your fishy stop-and-go attempt doesn't scare me, you fish! You have some crap like AK or TT and is trying to represent the J. Raise!
Nepenthe: Actually, YOU prove to me that you have a J.
EP: Eh...
-River-
Nepenthe: Hah, you don't have a J, or are you a weak-tight ass who's afraid of an underset?
EP: Whatever.

Me like both play and conversation. EP was tiny.
