Who's in?

I got a nice double up in the first orbit by some guy who liked to go allin on a pot the size of 100 or so. Did it the wrong time. =)

Who else is in?

i keep getting cards. i dont like it. my JJ ran into QQ, and now i just lost a bunch with my tens losing to AA. all baby cards on flop and i put him all in. now down to 2300 chips. crazy start for me. ive had 6 pocket pairs so far, all 10-10 and above.

not a great start for me, started by going 1000 -> 500...

now at 1730 at first break.. it's enough for me that i have all the chips when final table ends :/

I'm out in position 320. Raised SB minraise all-in from BB with QJh with something like 1k stack. He called with A9o, KTx flop and I didn't improve.

Well... I blame the cards of course (honestly, aces stayed miles away from me, pokertracker tells me I was dealt 72o the most, 10 times). If there were no luck involved I guess I'd win every one...

There went my $10, better luck next time...

Out 243rd through a subtle combination of stupid plays and cold cards, each responsible for the about 50% of the loss of a once above average stack. Ugh.

Good luck to chief and anyone else still in.

Not sure if this was a good player or not.

Chipleader moved to table two to my left. Yuck.

I get AJo UTG+2, and raise 3k, blind up to 7k. Called by chipleader. Flop is Axx. I bet 7k into a 17k pot. He comes over for 20k. I reraised all in (Actually misread his bet as a bluff). He calls with AT, and I double through.

3 big stacks all at the same table. All around 100 to 110k. Unfortunately to steal I have to go through atleast one of them, if not both. And got caught with 67s. Yuck.

Arr. Miracle situation. I have KK in the BB. two pushers in front of me. I call. One has AQ, other KK. A flops and I'm down to 75k. Grrrrr. Can I pull a helmuth there and not call?

Whoever the [censored] REL18 is, you're not helping by telling someone when I'm allin from the button that I bluff all the time. Let em play.

That said, I had 88.

Ya, that chat was getting out of hand during that allin. If it had pushed his fold to a call, I don't think I'd be very happy.

Blah. Lost a coinflip to chipleader. Out in 18th. /sleep.

Thanks for the sweat!

So who made final 3 or 4? For some reason the results are no up on Party.

It was a frustrating to go out there I did, but I dont think I'd change it. I felt he was trying to push me around, and at worse we would be a coinflip. I really thought he might lay it down because he'd just doubled up someone else. It was, and I simply lost the flip. I win that and I'm 2nd chip leader.

Thanks again all for the cheering.

For what it's worth the rail chatter actually pushed my call to a fold /images/graemlins/frown.gif

They really need to learn how to turn chat off when someone is all in. I felt with REL18 telling me about how much you bluffed etc that if I HAD been catching you bluffing it would have been a really lame way to stack up some chips when I didn't have much already committed.

FWIW we would have been a coin flip. Well played Chief, and I ended up finishing 12th. I was a little disappointed with that with how long I held onto the chip lead (had it from about 50 players left until we got down to around 27 or 28), but I really can't complain. Look forward to seeing you at the final table next time!

Not really sure if I'm a good player or not either /images/graemlins/smile.gif It was probably a bad call on my part, but I had no good read on you, and the size to call vs the size of the pot at the time (if I remember right, I was getting around 3:1 on my call) I decided to gamble it a bit and call you. It didn't dent me too badly, and I was able to grab the chip lead back pretty quickly.

Once we got down to about 20 my cards went dead and every time I got a marginal hand in decent position I kept getting re-raised all in. Good luck and hopefully I'll see you at a final table soon.

Rizen,

Great to hear from you. Didnt know you were on 2+2!

If you read my grammar, I added an "er" accidentally to my play in that statement. Should have read "Not sure if this was a good play or not" instead of "Not sure if this is a good player or not". I then followed with the description of the PLAY, not a player (In this case you). Just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't knocking you as a player.
Congrats on getting as high as you did. I dont remember your hand with ATON, but its tough sometimes in that two table area, it seemed like a lot of people were trying to take money from the chip leader.

I'm still stinging from the KK hand that saw me go from thinking I had a good shot at having 175k down to 70k when the guy with AQ hit his A.

I'll be playin again tonight.

I just won a satellite into the Super Monday as well, so see you there and best of luck! And my reply was somewhat in jest. I don't care too much if other people think I'm a good player or not. I'll be the first one to say that I have a lot to learn, but I've also had my fair share of success in tournaments. I've been more of a lurker than a poster here at 2+2, but the one thing I got from REM's comments was that you posted here, so I wanted to look for the thread (I was curious what you had) and say gg.

Best of luck tonight.
