This was my final hand in a NL MTT on Stars last night. 28 players remaining, I was 11th at the time. The next payout level was at 27 players, but I was trying to win, not survive for 1 more pay level.

The thoughts I had after the hand. One, I should have pushed pre-flop. Two, after raising the flop (and getting called), I should have either pushed or folded on the flop.

In any circumstance, can I avoid losing all my chips on this hand?

I think pushing preflop is excessive; your raise was ok. On the flop AFAIC you have a decision between 2 options. Fold and all in. There is now 43k in the pot, if you think your hand is good or you can take him off a small pair, push. Raising half your stack here is not a good idea IMVHO.

pushing pf with almost 20x is a pretty bad play, your raise was fine. I think your raise on the flop wasnt enough and I would either fold or push there.
