A situation that has been preying on my mind for days.

Quali for Sundays 250K guaranteed at Party
I think 18-20 players get a free 250+12 seat.
This is a situational issue I think, while I am sure I misplayed the last hand. In retrospect, I was on tilt.

Seat 8 is the button
Total number of players : 8
Seat 1: BB ( $7451 )
Seat 2: Hero ( $25774 )
Seat 4: ( $15451 )
Seat 5: Villain ( $12208 )
Seat 6: ( $1824 )
Seat 7: ( $11780 )
Seat 8: ( $5460 )
Seat 9: ( $9324 )
Trny: Level:11
Blinds (400/800)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ Ah Jh ]
Hero calls [800].
folds.
Villain calls [800].

** Dealing Flop ** [ Jc, 6h, 5d ]
checks.
Hero bets [3200].
Villain calls [3200].
folds.
** Dealing Turn ** [ Ac ]
Hero bets [8500].
is all-In.
** Dealing River ** [ 4s ]
Hero shows [ Ah, Jh ] two pairs, aces and jacks.
Villain shows [ Js, Jd ] three of a kind, jacks.

What a stupid call. I tell myself that I am trying to loosen up my game and take advantage of the bubble mentality to pick up some chips. It was a good opportunity. Then, with 24 players left,

Seat 4 is the button
Total number of players : 8
Seat 1: ( $7451 )
Seat 2: Hero ( $11166 )
Seat 4: ( $15627 )
Seat 5: ( $22416 )

Seat 7: Villain ( $13780 )
Seat 8: ( $7060 )
Seat 9: ( $7724 )

Villain calls [2500].
** Dealing Flop ** [ Tc, 4h, 2h ]
Villain bets [1900].
Hero raises [3800]. (more of the same I fear)
Villain is all-In.
Hero is all-In. (Sinking and I know it)
** Dealing Turn ** [ 9d ]
** Dealing River ** [ 8d ]
Hero shows [ Ks, As ] high card ace.
shows [ Qd, Qh ] a pair of queens.
Player Hero finished in 24 place

Is it ‘unsportsmanlike’ to hit that button walk away, and play on Sunday? Would anyone in here do it?

I dont see anything completely terrible here. I prolly woulda pushed pf with the ak, but otherwise it was fine.

I would have thrown the AJ and AKs away. You have the most chips at the table and someone will bust out before you. It's not your job in these sat to break every player at the table, it's just your job to make it into the money. It's survival for some other unlucky bastard (like seat 6 and 8), and you can easily make it in without putting too many chips at risk... Last night I played in a sat and just eeked my way into the money, having thrown away pocket queens on the button after it was folded to me. It's not about taking 1st, so my advice would be to play small pots and not get involved with people the same stack size and just cruise into the money next time...

only your raise in hand 2 seems tilt like.
