This was a hand from a recent $1/2 session. I have read SSHE and am wondering about my play in this hand.

I don't know what happend with the converter, but on the river I bet and everyone called.

Why aren't you 3-betting the flop? Why are you check-raising the turn?

Outcome: Hero wins 23 BB. </font>

I think this is an excellent example of when you want to raise right after a bet in front to protect your hand making everyone else call two cold to stay in.
