typical Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, 5 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks.

Turn: (2 BB) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks.

River: (2 BB) J/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets...

this is a clear value bet on the river, right?
should I have bet the turn?

I would bet the turn. I have a lot of outs, my hand may be best, people may put me on K/9/J and fold low pocket pairs, and no one seems to want this pot.

People may call this river to play the board. Probably the bet is worth a try.

Bet the turn. Just do it.
