Any orinthologists? (falcon question)

OK, those falcons that can get up to, like, 150 mph or something, and then crash into their bird prey while in flight simply amaze me.

The question for those in the know: how do they attack another bird at these kinds of speed without damaging themselves?

This is more of a physics question.
The answer is that the birds they attack have a low mass and falcons have strong bones.
