View Full Version : PT Auto-rate and SSH

What is your rating using SSH theory, and Bison's rating system. I have played about 20k hands using SSH theory, my rating is sLA-A and am make 5.25BB/hr. Just wondering what other peoples ratings are.

TA-A, but I will probably fall over into sLA-A pretty soon.

At what level? I don't see this being even at .5/1 without a major heater muchless able to keep it. Is your BB/100 like 11?

Most of my play has been at the prima .5/1 games and my BB/100 is 9.87. I didn't realize it myself until yesterday when I decided to look up how I was doing with SSH theory. I don't think it is sustainable either. Did not think it was possible.

I use a hybrid of the "loose" and "tight" guidelines from SSHE. (I routinely deviate from my standard PF play if I've been at a table long enough to sense how tight and/or aggressive it is and if I have a read on the players, but that's my default). Using those guidelines, which I think are fairly normal, my VP$IP hovers between 19% and 21%. I am thinking about tightening up a bit, mainly because I might want to move up a notch in the future (I play mostly 0.5/1 at Party).

So the end result is that I am either T-A-A or SL-A-A depending on where my VPI$P has drifted.

TA-A

I usually stick to the 'tight game' preflop guidelines in SSH. (I don't think I've ever seen a game loose enough to qualify for the SSH's definition of loose.)

I was TA-N when I first started keeping track using Bison's scheme, and now I am happily into TA-A territory. I also use the "tight" guidelines from SSHE for most online games.
