Haven't tried that one. I'm an Islay man myself. I'm Partial to Talisker, which technically isn't an Islay, but it's got a good peaty flavor. I like my Scotch smoky. (But I prefer my women to be non-smoking. Except smokin' hot!)

talisker is good for peaty flavor.

i generally prefer the less peaty sorts of scotches, particularly the types with a sherry or wine cask finishing, like the macallan or springbank. the sauternes wood finish has a flavor that's somehow almost vanilla-ish. which is not what i normally expect in a scotch, but comes out utterly fabulous. it's also a couple of hundred bucks for a bottle. (my gf bought it over in scotland for 150 british pounds and we decided to split the cost and share the scotch.)

in general, glenmorangie seems to be experimenting with different finishes for their scotch. i've also got a (much less expensive) malaga wood finish that's all kinds of tasty.
