In your opinion, who would win a limit heads up match freezeout type. Say 200-400 Fixed Limit Texas Holdem. Erik123 who is an 18 year old Swedish player who plays on the internet or Jennifer Harmon, or any of the other high limit short handed pros. If you have ever seen erik123 play, you know how amazing and how deep his knowledge of the game is. Just curious what people think.

Thanks

What venue?

Online 6-5 Pick'em.

Live? Jennifer crushes him. No question. All you 18-20 year-olds that think I'm wrong, well you have no clue yet.

That's it? You come before the poker court with that hand? And you can play under set better than everyone else?

Case dismissed. Charges for the defendent.

Your honor.....

Not a chance he gets crushed. Players that are supposedly this good don't get crushed.

Won't the "cashout curse" affect Erik123 as well? At what level does the curse stop hurting your play?

i believe ms is right. i play alot live and its totally different from the mental game online poker is.its more of a read and feel game than the mental gymnastic of online. so i do believe he would lose to jennifer or ted forrest or any of the ultra high limit players who excel at live play but might be just good at online poker.

Get a life, when you have 20K on your account, go ahead and cash it out. As for now, keep grinding at the free tables.

With all due respect, you are all wrong. Very good/great players are close enough in ability that the fluctuations in the course of one evening are much greater than the difference in ability.

If they are going to play for a month or so, then maybe ability starts mattering. Anything shorter is more a crapshoot than anything.

Poker is unique in that when a player is better than you, you have a hard time understanding why or how. Great players do, see and think things that average players don't.

One hand can never differentiate a great player from a very good player. All one hand can tell you is if someone's an idiot or not.

I don't know the players you are talking about, but I know that if they are better than us, we probably don't understand how or why.

Just like the poor player that feels unlucky when his straight gets beaten by a flush when there is a four flush on the board.
