I wasn't about to get super excited about the ace. I thought I could easily be dominated and was happy to see a showdown with this.

I want to raise either preflop or on the flop in hopes of cheap cards on later streets. Your line looks fine, however, and in retrospect I doubt anything could've slowed down SB. (If you don't think he will 3-bet, raising the turn would be a +EV trap, but by now it looks like he's going to the felt).
