I was playing 2-6 spread holdem at the Excalibur last weekend and this happened on the table I was at.

10 handed. UTG raises to 8, all fold to button who calls, SB makes it 14, UTG goes to 20, button and SB call.
Flop comes K /images/graemlins/spade.gif K /images/graemlins/heart.gif K /images/graemlins/club.gif
SB Bets 6, UTG raise to 12, button makes it 18, SB calls.
Turn: 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
SB check, UTG bet 6, Button call, SB call.
River: 10 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
All check ? lol

SB turns over AA, UTG turns over AA and Button turns over K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif ROFLMAO!!!

I coudln't believe this guy called with K2o and neither could anyone else. So he got to spin the wheel for the 4 of a kind and hits double 100, so now he's up like 3 1/2 racks on his 4th or 5th hand!

And how quickly did he lose those racks?

I cracked double rockets a few weeks ago with cowboys late in a NL tourney. But this is just ridiculous.

I have no idea, I left a little while later, but he had about 5 racks when I left from just sheer bad play with lucky results. The Ex has a wheel that you can spin if you get pocket A's cracked, or a 4 of a kind or better hand, minimum win is 20 and max is Triple x 100 (2 spins).

It was just a great and funny hand to watch when it could be argued that it should have been a split pot, lol.

Coldcalling random stuff from the button happens about once every second at Party Poker. The funniest part of this hand is check-calling the turn & river.

we have a forum for this. or we don't. either way. it's not here.

I have no idea what you're complaining about. The forum states small stakes holdem. What do you think that 2-6 holdem is? No limit? I see comments regarding hands and how they were played and wanted to add one that I watched. This is not a bad beat story if you happen to read anything that I wrote. It's just an explanation of a hand that I thought was intersting enough to post here for all to read/enjoy/dislike.

It happens. And by "it" I mean bad plays by unskilled opponents, dumb content-free posts about them, snide responses to said posts by people like myself, and endless arguments about whether something that is dull and commonplace can be described as interesting.

If I had a dime for every time some bad player coldcalled with something he shouldn't have and won a hand against blah blah blah I would have exactly as much money as I have now because that is what happens in poker and how we tend to make money in the long run.

Tomorrow's headline: SUN RISES IN EAST, PHOTOC FLABBERGASTED.

Beautiful.

Photoc--consider using one of the other forums. A gentlemen to my left at the casino nearest me was picking his nose. This was at a 3/6 table, but (until now) I refrained from posting it here, despite its obvious relevance to SS.

Besides, if you wanted to impress us with aces being cracked, you'd post a hand history where quad aces on the flop are cracked by a one (ten in the hole) royal. Now wouldn't that be cool?

No, it wouldn't. And it, too, would go in another forum.

See, I'm not snide, even if I don't lorfmalo as well as Senor Bison.

No kidding, unskilled opponents and situations like this arrise all the time. So why do you feel the need to berate my post? You didn't even have to read the post as you already knew what it was about after reading the topic. Yet you feel the need to come in here and blast me for posting something I found interesting and ironic at the same time. I dont see you flaming every other poster for asking what should have happened on every single post dealing with a specific hand on here.

I'm sorry that I have offended your level of intelligence by posting something you did not find interesting yet you volunteered to read and yet complain about.

I am new to this forum, but that in no way makes me new to the ways of posting on internet forums in general. I like this site, there are lots of good posts, some bad, some worthless, but you dont see me or very many people hijacking threads just to insult or complain about them, now do you?

Complain to a moderator to have this moved or deleted, not to the poster.

Ok, educate me as to which forum this should go into? I might have missed the "non interesting hands" forum. This one has a general topic so I posted it here. A simple message to an admin would get it moved, but you never considered that. Seems that you jump on the poster because you dont like where he posted it, like I have any control over getting it moved so you won't see it here. Once again, I appologize if I have offended you in any way.

Just so we're clear, I routinely crap on bad threads. It is one of my raisin debtors. raisons d'etre

To answer why, I'll quote myself here, crapping on a thread on the first of July:

"This forum is not heavily moderated, it's largely self-policing. If someone was to register on 8/14/2010 and post an off-topic black hole that same day, I would hope and pray that someone would have the common courtesy to make them feel bad about it. The condescending posters of the small stakes forum posters are like a thousand points of light, illuminating an otherwise formless void. If you don't like it, you can take it or you can respond in kind - it is a free internet after all. "

I'm not hijacking it "just" to insult or complain. I'm hijacking it so you'll post boring stuff like this elsewhere or not at all. The moderators here look out for spam and porn. That's about it. It's up to each idealistic poster like myself to enforce with steely brutality our own jingoistic vision of this, our precious small stakes forum.

and those of us who spend so much time posting here appreciate this. threads like this drag down the quality of this forum. no one cares about bad beats or "funny" hands, unless I post them because I'm a huge hypocrite, but that's neither here nor there.

I'm interested in your theories of social policy. Distilled, it runs something akin to "don't fix the problem, find a solution," does it not? Because if we actually had mods who did this sort of thing, why would I want to guarantee them more thankless work, will absolving you of all responsibility? Isn't it much more productive to be chastised? Even if we had mods who moved threads, then we would have to deal with a deluge of posts questioning the whereabout of irrelevent threads. And that, my friend, does not sound like a winning poker proposition.

I'm just being a prick because its six in the morning, and there is no one to tell me not to. This thread will be long gone before the morning crew gets here.

I applaud you Bison. And to whoever started thsi thread (I forgot your name), wait until you're an established poster here to post threads with zero contenet.

Bison assumed that a newbie poster might actually want to learn for the future if he intended on remaining an active poster on these boards.

P.S. Grow up.

Ok, now you guys are beating a dead horse here. I get the hint that no one wants to hear or read posts regarding stories, but seriously, if you dont want to read it, dont click on it. I'll refrain from posting anything like this in the future and if I have a question, I'll use the search button at the top for fear of getting flame retardant answers like this thread turned out to be.
