Did harrah's front the 2 million?
someone said Ramyer's entry was from winning the main event, so does that mean 200,000 was taken fron the main event prize pool for that seat??

I just sent a letter to harrah's asking for a seat inb next years Tourney of Amatuers freeroll, in case they decide to have one like this "champions' " tourney.

No idea who fronted it, but in the end it comes from the ad revenue from ESPN.

I agree, but $2million to produce a single show on espn, theres so many poker shows as it is. I guess thats reasonable considering each actor on friends was paid 1million per episode, but clearly there arent near the same viewership on espn.

darn, I, or anyone for the matter, should have made the OFFICIAL Tourney of Champions thread. This is getting ridiculous. Congrats Annie, tough luck Phil.

Harrah's entertainment fronted the money.

Darn, thats not the answer I wanted to hear being a shareholder in Harrah's. Oh well, I'm sure it was still +EV running this tourney for my company.

Harrah's scored a ton off of add revenue, enjoy those divided checks.
