I don't like my limp preflop, but a standard raise would commit me to the pot, and I don't really like the thought of pushing this early in the game.

By limping and calling the minraise you are rather committed (1/4 of your stack). Pushing in up front is better than limping.

I agree. I would push with only 7.5bb and be happy if I only picked up the blinds. At the very least, you re-raise allin to the min-raise.

My answer may have been different before reading TPFAP. In it, Sklansky has a section on AK in NL. He points out that you are a big favorite over any other A or K, a lesser favorite to two under cards, and only a slight underdog to a pair below KK. The only two hands to worry about are AA and KK. And, by pushing pf, you avoid the sometimes difficult play afterwards. But I wouldn't do it unless my stack was low, like yours was.

I like the all-in move before the flop. You likely have the best hand at this point. Small to mid PP are not likely to call. You still have a large enough stack to scare away most loose callers. If your stack is further depleted by the blinds, you may not get respect for your all in move.

this is a great spot to go all-in. i think it's bad enough not to push right away, but after he min-raises you, you have to go all-in right then. you called $200 PF and missed and then folded. now you are down to $555.
