If you never semi-bluffed $10+1 you could still be playing extremely profitably. Push a draw if you have so many outs that top pair is statistically behind, like KcQc on a JcTc6h board, otherwise just don't do it.

I think there are many situations when an outright bluff is profitable. Of course the main reason for pushing is to win without a showdown. The straight draw is just a topping on the cake. I admit that the king is scary, and I'd be much happier to do this with overcards and/or flush draw. But if the situation was that obvious, I probably wouldn't have bothered to post it here.

IMO it is not worth raising preflop here and on teh flop i wouldnt go all in here since you are still a dog if called and if he has nothing he wil lfold to a lesser bet. I can definitely understand what you were trying to do here but with small blinds and a passive player you are better off checking on the flop since you will still likely get paid off if you make a straight.
