Its still early in the tournament 15/30 blinds and i didnt really wanna risk most my stack on this hand. How would you have played this?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed)

MP2 (t364)
CO (t780)
Button (t725)
SB (t1290)
Hero (t1230)
UTG (t1901)
UTG+1 (t760)
MP1 (t950)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6/images/graemlins/club.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls t30, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (t75) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets t30, Hero calls t30.

Turn: (t135) T/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets t30, Hero calls t30.

River: (t195) K/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets t500, Hero folds.

I figure theres only 135 in the pot so im not losing THAT much by folding but something just didnt seem right in his 500 bet.

Final Pot: t695
Main Pot: t195 (t195), won by MP1.
Pot 2: t500 (t500), returned to MP1.

I would bet the river, and fold to a push.

That is a bizarre bet. To me it looks like a flopped straight or a turned full, but who knows.

As the other poster said, things would be clearer if you had bet the river. Imagine MP with a fairly typical hand like A7 - you can't rely on him to bet the river but if you bet reasonably small you'll probably get a call. I would have bet 100 on the river. A large raise then means business and you can fold.
