Ive been trying to improve my multi table nl tourny play by playing in several 1k freerolls a day at GC. there are aboyt 800-3k people in each one. half of the fields early strategy is to go all in and double up early or lose and be done with it and get back to the ring games. there is some VERY weak all in raising going on.

i run into some who will lose half there starting stack and start going all in every hand no matter what they have. the other day i had 66 in the BB and its about the 15th hand of the tourney. i have 1100 chips(started with 1000). utg goes all in with his 850 chips for the 5th time in a row. last time he went from 425 to 850 when his J3o beat 1010. its folded to me and i call. he flips over K9o and beats me when a K falls on the turn.

i know this isnt a bad beat. my question is this. what is the weakest hand you winning nl tourney guys would risk the whole tourney this early with?

I would be calling the all ins with AA, KK,QQ and maybe AKs and JJ. QQ, JJ and AKs are a bit questionable but I think you need to take the chance to get chips. If they have a small stack you can add in a few more hands. Generally you can fold your way throught the first half hour of blinds and still have a decent stack to play with if you want to play more serious poker rather than gambling.
