Went to Foxwoods this saturday. Got killed by horrendous rivers in the 4/8 game. With my last 100 i step into the $100 max NL with 1/2 blinds. Since i only have 1 buy in for this table i decided to play very tight. Let me know if i was playing too tight?
I have no reads on oppenents at this time.
Hand 1:
I pick up AQo in the SB. UTG raises to 15, there are 3 callers then i fold as well as the BB. I dont like not knowing these players plus the fact i will be in the worst position for the rest of the hand. Turns out UTG had ATo (Am i wrong to think that this was a horrible raise?)
Hand 2:
I get dealt AJs in LP. About 2-3 limpers, i just limp (Now im thinking about it, i should have definately raised this.. let me know if i am correct) someone limps behind me too. Sb calls and BB raises to 15. 2 callers and i fold, guy behind me calls.
I think that the AQo fold was correct while the AJs fold was incorrect. Let me know your opinions. Thanks
