AQ suited fold top pair top kicker on flop?? too conservative?

1-2 limit loose game, i am playing tight but i dont think anyone is paying attention... I fold top pair top kicker becaues i believe the guy has either KK or AA and it turns out that was a good move but I am still thinking it was a weak laydown because if you go in with AQ and hit your Q you must be willing to play it (or else you wont be playing much)

you are weak-tight. you should post in the micro-limit forum, which is incidentally where 1/2 hands belong, to break out of this phase. also, in the future, don't include results in your initial post, because it does nothing but cause biased responses.

you should be 3-betting preflop, and I think by looking at the results you should realize this. I personally would also 3-bet the flop.

Folding the flop is weak, just because he flopped a straight doesn't make it a 'good' laydown.
