View Full Version : Where have all the loose games gone?

I have been playing Party 3/6 for about 7 hours today, and I am struck by how tight tables have become pre-flop. While occasionally a table will go crazy, my experience today (and recently) has been that fewer and fewer players are seeing the flop--certainly nowhere near the 5-7 players you might expect from the WLLH or SSH books. More like 3-4 including players in the blinds. Play after the flop remains pretty unimpressive, but is it my imagination, or are players starting to tighten up their starting hands?
I played about 4.5 hours today and the word tight never came to mind, especially if you consider how many cold calls you see.

Well like I said, not tight after the flop. But in terms of the numbers of people seeing the flop. Maybe its just bad table choice?
When the sun goes down all the crazies let loose. Or in the words of Travis Bickle, "All the animals come out at night."

NFL Sunday. May make the tables a tad tighter. But, if you're really having problems, just switch tables.

That game was fascinating simply because there was no offense.

Nature wouldn't let them fight it out, so they had to become NFL teams.

I would think tables would be tighter after summer is over - many people take vacation in August both in U.S. and Europe - but does not seem to be the case -
I do find 3/6 tigher than 2/4

Heck yeah. I had Miami +5. Big ten killed me two weeks ago.
And I ended up last season mucho bettatanies up. Still ahead. NOW, what about tonites' game? I can watch and play at same time (one table).
