A/images/graemlins/heart.gif T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif in SB. These Prima 0.5/1 tables are pretty tight aren't they? Anyone else play or have played in them?

Pre-flop
UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, Button calls, I call, BB checks.

Flop (5SB) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif A/images/graemlins/spade.gif 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
I bet, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, Button folds.

Turn (4BB) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif
I bet, UTG folds, UTG+2 raises, I call.

River (8BB) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif
I check, UTG+2 bets, I call.

Final Pot: 10BB

You played it pretty standard.

But you think the Prima .50/1 tables are tight? Those games were always really loose when I played there (3-4 months ago). There were a few regulars who were pretty good when I played there, but lots of fish who get the free money (that doesn't require a deposit) made the games really good.

I guess i'm too used to seeing 9 loose players and me at the table from playing 0.05/0.10-0.25/0.50 /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Consider making it three bets on the turn. If you get re-raised you can make a crying call on the river. If he calls your 3 bet on the turn, lead out on the river.

Looks to me like your man has a J and you're ahead.
