Hey Mike,
I think that I would play it the same, as 99 is a possible raising hand for MP2. That being said, I think it more likely that he's holding TT-JJ and waited to see if the turn brought an over to pop your AK.

I think I would have probably played it the same. However, I think the case can be made for capping the turn. Out of all the possible hands he could raise preflop, you're only worried about 99. If I capped the turn and he lead the river I'd call. If he checks, I'd bet.

99 is a worrysome hand to be against so i'd just call down too.

though if the card were some random low card or even pairing the 2 or 3, i'd still cap.

He wont have 99 unless he sucks at poker, since he should CR you(and the two other) then....so I just call down when he 3bets..
