I'm primarily a limit player, and am just learning to play SNGs for fun. Villain is pretty passive. Have seen him in very few flops so far. Should I give this hand up somewhere?

I like the flop bet and turn...but you've got to think with that kind of action he's got something...maybe check the turn since you're out of position. Ace5?

A9 for the turned two pair. Since I was OOP I figured checking anywhere would be a concession, and with that much in the pot, it's hard not to call if he puts in his last 550.

I don't know if this is the preferred strategy, but whenever I flop big (but not too big) with trash in the BB and I figure to have the best hand on the flop but it is vulnerable, I'll just push. I figure since I wouldn't have been in the hand if it weren't for free, I'll settle for just the blinds called by the limpers.

You can lead out for sure, but usually when I flop a ragged two pair in the BB I'll checkraise. This works especially well on the Ace high flop. If the UTG better had bet 250 into a pot of 250 you could have put him all in, pretty sure you're ahead of A w/ good kicker.
