Sklansky's "The System"

Hello

Has anyone tried Sklansky's "The System" for online play? If so, what has been your results. I am thinking about trying it at some single table tournaments first to see what happens.

are you referring to the system in the tournament book? if so, i wouldnt recomend it for low limit. you will get called much more often in low limit than in the type of enviorment he discusses in his book where the system is effective.

I tried it on a couple of UB free tourney's. Not a good sample, but I didn't have much success. The problem is that the system assumes that players will fold marginal, and even good, not great, hands. I got called almost everytime. Worked well when I had KK; not so much when I had Ax.

Also...
I'm a newbie, so I could be wrong, but I think this might be the wrong board for this message. The system if for tourney's, and this board is for ring games I believe.
