You could've folded preflop. I don't really like unsuited connectors unless they are big. It looks like the guy with JQ wanted to slowplay (bad play) his trips but the turn put a possible flush out there and he might've feared you were representing a flush with that weak bet trying to keep players in. The river obviously gave him the best hand. You didn't lose as much as you could have. He could just as well have had one of the tens.

I have to agree you could have folded. With these bets, especially this early with fish out there, you're likely up against AJ, QJ or JT and probably suited. Especially at Party 5/1
