I know of some medium stakes players pooling together their hand histories.
For regulars, they feel it will only speed up the process and give them a larger database to see.
For newbies, they feel it will give them a heads start on a lot of notes from hands it would take a long time to get and hopefully get their bankroll jump started easier.
I've also been asked to sell my hand histories for levels .5/1 - 2/4
They usually want from winning players so they can best tell how their opponent will play within the sample they are looking at.
My post is three part:
1. Do you think it's ethical to sell your pokertracker database?
2. Would you do it if someone offered you money?
3. How much would you sell your hands (for this ? use 30k hands at one level ex .5/1)
If you do answer yes to 2, and choose to answer 3. Would you base it upon # of hands purely or # of hands and level of limit?
