Agreed! For my money its one of the best macro brews around. I'll think I'll go swill one right now.

Warsteiner is cheap and good too. I also like Grolsch. Not as cheap, but good.

Remember a beer or two a day, keeps the doctor away!

I'm very serious about that one, it's not a joke.

Pilsner Urquell taste good out of the bottle, but on tap its simply amazing. I have only been to a few bars that have it on tap, so look around.

You're probably not remembering my post (http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=exchange&Number=183159) from almost 2 years ago where I ranked it #1.

You can find this beer in all Bohemian restaurants. Especially great for washing down roast duckling, dumplings, and sour kraut. /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Well you got it half right. It's not too expensive.

People who like Urquell should try another great Czech beer, Staropramen (comes in a dark version too). It's even hoppier than Urquell.

Darn, I got thisty now and it's only 10:40 AM here /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Move to Vegas and play at Bellagio. They have it on draught. It rules.

Pilsner Urquell (http://www.pilsnerurquell.us/)

They even got space invaders and pac man. Is that cool or what.

Heres another cool beer site (http://www.ratebeer.com/)

My beer store was out of PU, so the owner recommended I try Kozel. Turns out I like it better. Of course I can only judge it by the bottled beer. the review describes it nicely
<font color="blue">"A solid pilsener. Hoppy aroma, grassy. Pours a golden yellow, mid-range carbonation. Nice malt body, crisp hops in the finish.

Haven't tried the Pilsner, but I have to give a shout out to my favorite beer: Dixie Blackened VooDoo. Try it. You'll thank me.

Was just going to post the exact same thing. Even better is in the Czech Republic. It could be psychological, but it was even better on tap over there.

Funny, Warsteiner's slogan is "Because life is too short to drink cheap beer". I have a tee-shirt with that on it.

It had been my benchmark until I had a few stale bottles. Thanks for the reminder - I'll have to give it a try again.

Previously I had purchased a six pack of NewCastle Brown Ale and thought it was better. Apparently I'm in the minority.

Heres how they rank at
RateBeer.com (http://www.ratebeer.com/)

Pilsner Urquell 67 percentile
NewCastle Brown 50 percentile
Budweiser 1 percentile

Not sure about better, but it sure as hell was cheaper there. Nothing like 25 cent beer.

Left 2 six packs of this stuff in the freezer this weekend and they didn't explode. I'm impressed.

If you move to Vegas to drink beer, you should at least do it at the Hofbrauhaus. Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas (http://www.hofbrauhauslasvegas.com/)
