Had a good sesssion today, but I'm not ready to declare the slump over yet. There were many hands that confused me. Here are some of them.

Hand 1. BB is a true LAG. Once limp capped and capped a missed flop with 42o. Bet the river?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Hero raises, 2 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)

Final Pot: 9.25 BB
Main Pot: 9.25 BB, between BB, Hero and MP2.

Hand 2. Did I play this like a little girl? No reads

Final Pot: 8.25 BB
Main Pot: 8.25 BB, between Hero and BB.

Last one. And the toughest to play? I hate the cold call, by the way.. I only did it because suddenly 3 people sat out and the game was 6-handed. I've only cold called about 8 times in the last 20,000 hands, so I don't think it's a big leak in my game. Still, 3-bet or nothing here, no?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
3 folds, Button calls, SB raises, Hero calls, Button calls.

Flop: (6 SB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, Button folds.

River: (8 BB) Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)

Hand 1 - Looks good.

Hand 2 - Uh, you know you have a str8, right? The 2nd nuts? I'd definitely reraise here. There will be many times you're against 2-pair, set, or low end of the str8 to make it worth it.

Hand 3 - I'd play it the same. Lose least, win most type situation I think.

Hand 4 - I'd 3-bet, especially shorthanded. Hopefully the button will fold and it would be heads-up with you in a good position. The SB's stop-n-go is hard to read. Without a read on the player, I'd probably play it the same then feel like a girl when I take the pot or feel smart when he takes it and I avoided his check-raise.

Also, I don't think it's technically a cold-call when you're in a blind.
