So we were doing basic probability stuff in my Quantitative Methods class, when someone asked this question. My professor is an intelligent man when it comes to the business aspects of finance, but not the greatest in math. I tried, but due to my poor understanding of probability, I couldn't figure it out. I have a feeling I was overcomplicating it, so perhaps one of you math whizzes could help solve my curiosity.

You are given two cards, what are the odds that you get an A and a heart, or the A /images/graemlins/heart.gif which would satisfy both requirements. Thanks.

P(Ah) + P(3 other aces and a heart that's not the Ah) = 51/C(52,2) + 3*12/C(52,2) =~ 6.561%
