I'm pretty new to SSH and I'm just curious. I took a 30BB pot on a Party $2/$4 table last night, and I wanted to know how rare or common that is.

What's the biggest pot you've ever seen on an internet small stakes table?

A pot of around $400 at Royal vegas $1/$2... at a VERY loose table... With jacks I flopped a full house and everyone else was betting like mad!

No limit doesn't count.

And if it wasn't no limit, lies don't count either.

Not really a pot, but I won the high hand jackpot at the Reno Hilton a few weeks ago. Eight high straight flush (/images/graemlins/diamond.gif) for a cool $1000. The taxman took away $300 of that right away though. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Took down a $240ish pot last night at 3/6, I guess that's 40 BB.

That is, of course, impossible, unless the cap is different.

Right. He obviously didnt win 200BB at limit. I think I worded my post poorly, I was trying to point out to this guy that we're not talking about NL.

Horseshoe 4/8 (Early July, Midday on a Thursday).

10 players.

Table was fairly tight/passive w/ a couple loose/passive players... 2 LAGs join the table and the game changes to a crap shoot.

I am in BB. UTG raises. UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 3-bets, MP2 cold-calls 3, MP3 folds, CO (new lag) 4-bets. Button calls 4 cold, SB calls, I look down at K/images/graemlins/heart.gif K/images/graemlins/club.gif. I'm like wtf???.... Cap? (5-bets at horseshoe). All call.

(40 SB - 8 players) see a flop of K /images/graemlins/spade.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif T/images/graemlins/heart.gif
Nobody drops out for 4 bets.

(36BB - 8 players) turn: T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
It's capped. 5 see river.... 2 all in (6BB between the 2) and 2 callers of original bet.

69 BB river: completes the /images/graemlins/heart.gif flush on board.

I'm all in after 3BB, but the other 3 cap it.

87 BB. (I'm not exactly sure of the total, but it did fill up 7 racks w/ some extra left over, so it was slightly more than 87 BB).

SB flips over TT. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif
