this type of situation seems to come up alot, how far should i bet this?

As seen as he raised you on the flop it is very unlikely you can beat him on the river so fold.

After the turn doesn't improve your hand or give you a flush draw, you can fold.

I'm nuts, but I'd 3-bet the flop and lead out on the turn. I've got overcards and a back door nut draw. But I'm LAG.
