Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif.
Hero raises, 4 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, CO bets, SB calls, BB folds, Hero folds...

This is not how I'd normally play it - typically I'd just bet out and go from there. Thoughts?

Hey Surf,

I'd go with your typical play and see what develops from there.

Bet out on the flop.

Go check out the eerily similar hand I posted earlier in which I had Jacks and was promptly berated by the SS faithful for not betting the flop.

Use short words. It's more good. Next time, bet the flop.

damn you guys and your creative post titles. pretty soon my posts with standard subject lines like "not sure of this one", and "how bout this hand" won't get viewed at all.

Gooder?

Two sound parts! Not for me, thank you.

My gratitude for the concise profundities elaborating upon the afforementioned imperfect unorthodox betting endeavor.

I learn! Bet here good! Check here bad!

Say "lol", not "laugh" "out" "loud" for good sound from this word.

I'll take up the minority I guess. I can't imagine how you could raise preflop and check-fold the flop if you can't do it here.

I'd expect to win this pot very rarely in a typical 2/4 game, and my draws are almost non-existent. The pot is decent but nothing to get too excited about. Check-fold.

Betting is the aggressive mistake though, so if you have any doubt, bet.

my 2 cents.
