Hey Surf, I'd definitely bet the turn, looks like he might have A8 or something like that.

Bet the turn. Of his (numerous) likely holdings, you're still ahead of a lot of them, no reason to ease off now. As for the river play, you need to get better at hitting straights, that's clear.

Bet the turn....No need to be afraid of a flush draw here, his action on the flop has me thinking his hand is already made.....If anything, the turn scares him into checking and calling with the best hand....

would you fold if raised ?

given that he called 1 bet out of the BB, I had serious trouble narrowing his holdings, and felt after the flop 3-bet that it was quite likely that he had flopped 2 pair.

When he checks to me on the turn, I took the free card as my read at that point was that I was behind - if he's going to let me try to draw out that's great. Additionally, I had been playing quite aggressively at the table and considered the possibility that he might be going for an oddly-timed checkraise.
Additionally, I wasn't really concerned with the flush after the flop 3-bet.

The river bet is a must but my thoughts were that I've counterfeited weird flop 2 pairs...and that if he had a 7 he would have bet into me instead of risking it getting checked through again, so at that point I felt my hand was best.

Questions -

if I cap the flop, what do I do if I get raised on the turn?

If I call the flop and bet the turn, what about getting raised there?

thanks for the input.
