Randy Johnson passed Steve Carlton on the most career strikeout list by a left-hander. The Big Unit is now third at 4,137 strikeouts and trails Clemens (4,287) and of course Mr. Ryan (5,714).

Bonds is chasing his 700th homerun and Ichiro is chasing the single season hit record and the NL wild card really is a wild race and the Yankees and the Red Sox play head to head soon. Good baseball stuff coming up.

Buddy Ryan was a pitcher.
We sure know he wasn;t a hitter; just ask Jeff Fisher

Only 6 seasons more, and Randy might be able to catch Nolan. I'm not counting on it.

He is incredible though, I'm amazed that he seems to get better every year.
