If you are willing to go sun-thurs.

Bally's is $49 a night

Monte Carlo is $59 a night

Excalibur is $49 a night

Luxor is $69 a night

Most of these offers are open until the end of October but a couple end sooner. If you're willing to come during an off-day its pretty damn cheap.

etc....

If you want a poker rate I dunno if you can book in advance and then renegotiate when you get there. I've never stayed at a hotel where I got a player discount so I'm not sure the protocol of that.

I would be interested to know how to go about getting a poker rate though? Do you have to call the casino in advance and book through them or can you book a deal online and then if your poker rate ends up being less get a refund?

Thanks, these prices are a lot better than i can book.

I would have to pay full price through an agent,so there is no possibility of a poker rate.

I think i will sort out the bulk of my accomodation when i get there ,sounds a whole lot cheaper.

Most hotels are on-line. Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz can handle car, plane, but I wouldn't do hotel because you can't get poker rates which are worked out with you and the place you stay. Orleans is cheap and easy to get poker rates.

good luck

dont pop in on a weekend and expect a room. you may get one but it may be work to find it. book and then look after you get there as you can always move early.

I am going to play it safe and book first week and then sort the other weeks out while i am there.Dont want to have to sleep under the poker table at the Mirage!

Last time I was in Vegas I booked directly with the hotel reservations (Luxor) and made my best deal. After arriving I went to the Poker room manager who started clocking my hours and when I reached the number of hours for the poker discount they made the price adjustment.

I have heard that this is a better way to get the rates than booking through the poker room.
